Commitment
What is Mover’s mission?
We come from the world of skiing. And it’s out there, in the snow and in the effort, that we saw it clearly: performance doesn’t come from plastic. Synthetic fibres don’t breathe well, they trap odours, and they leave behind traces that can’t be erased.
When we looked further, we found nature. Materials like merino wool, unmatched in their ability to regulate temperature, comfortable, reliable, and a pleasure to wear—whether in motion or at rest.
But this choice goes far beyond technical performance. It’s a stance. Because plastic has become the most harmful pollutant in the textile industry. It ends up in our soils, in the oceans, and in our bodies. And it has no place in what’s meant to bring us closer to the living world.
At Mover, we believe it’s time to do things differently. To have the courage to move in the right direction. That’s what we do: clothing that outperforms its synthetic counterparts — while respecting both the wearer and the planet.
Performance, yes — but not at any cost.
Why did you choose a plastic-free model?
Our roots are in skiing. And it's precisely in our search for performance that we've come to understand that synthetics is not the solution. Plastic breathes badly, retains odours, and pollutes the mountains.
Through continuous search, we found nature to be the best candidate. Its fibres, like merino wool, offer unrivalled comfort, with thermal regulation far superior to its synthetic equivalent, and a real sense of well-being, both on the move and at rest.
Choosing a plastic-free model isn't just a question of performance. It's a commitment. Because plastic is the textile industry's biggest pollutant. Because it poisons our soils, our oceans, our bodies. And because none of this is compatible with a love of sport, nature or life.
At Mover, we believe it's time to do things differently. To have the courage to change. That's why we design high-performance, plastic-free garments, with respect for those who wear them and those who make them.
For us, performance only makes sense if it goes in the right direction.
Where can I learn more about your environmental commitment?
Please check following this link to learn more: https://mover.eu/fr/pages/sustainability
Why are you against plastic recycling?
Plastic recycling is only a temporary fix that doesn't address pollution at its source. We believe that preventing pollution by eliminating plastic from the design of a garment is the real solution. To learn more, read our article "Stop Recycling Plastic".
Where are your certifications? I can’t find them.
We have not highlighted certifications on our website, as none fully meet our standards. We would be the first to embrace a certification that ensures complete garment circularity, integrating human, environmental, and animal welfare aspects throughout the production cycle. However, such a certification does not currently exist in the textile industry. That being said, we remain attentive to emerging certifications that align with our philosophy.
We believe that many certifications are more of a business and marketing gimick rather than a guarantee of quality and sustainability. When you take a closer look at their criteria and limitations, you'll quickly realize that many certifications allow toxic substances to perpetuate while misleading consumers into believing that as long as a product has a label, it is clean. In other words, many certifications are a form of greenwashing. We don't want to participate in this lie.

Taking care of your Mover products
How should I care for my Mover apparel?
We recommend following the care instructions on each product's label. Our clothing is designed to be easy to care for while maintaining its shape and quality over time. All our wool products are machine washable. Use the wool program at 30°C on your machine with a maximum spin speed of 600 rpm.
Can I tumble dry my merino wool apparel?
Do not use a tumble dryer to preserve the quality of your wool garments. It's best to let your clothes air dry flat to maintain their shape and prevent any shrinkage or damage to the fibers.
My fleece is piling. What should I do?
Pilling is a natural process and will stabilize over time. A little steam can help restore the fibers. Avoid removing pills by hand or with any tool, as this may damage the fabric.
My product shrank. What should I do?
Slight shrinkage can occur when natural fibers contract. Steaming can help restore the original shape. To minimize shrinkage, wash your garments according to the washing instructions. Our products made of cotton will shrink by approximately half a size to one size during the first wash.
